journal dedicated to openness and transparency in science. It was designed to
encourage replication and comprehensive meta-analyses and to foster research
partnerships. The journal is characterized by:
Data Sharing-Authors published in this journal deposit their data in a
repository so that other scholars may request access for replications and
extensions. Data requestors collaborate with the original authors.
Translating Science for the Public-Each article is accompanied by a general
language abstract and a questionnaire outlining the study's rationale, method,
results, and interpretation.
Open Access-Published articles are open access, and available to everyone.
Readers will find articles on subjects ranging from neuroscience to political
psychology, and all topics in between. Articles also describe research conducted
utilizing any of the methods used by researchers in psychology-experimental,
descriptive, and research synthesis, quantitative and qualitative.
